Academic Progression

Mater Dei - High School degree

Six years of high school allowed me to discover my interests and shape my future career. In order to explore as much as possible, I chose to sacrifice my high school grades by taking on more lessons than usual. This enabled me to participate in a wide range of courses, which led me to develop a true interest in classics and the arts, as well as a passion for mathematics and sciences. By the end of my high school years, a typical week of lessons included the following subjects:

  • Latin - 4 hours
  • Greek - 4 hours
  • Math - 8 hours
  • Science - 6 hours
  • French - 4 hours
  • Ducth - 4 hours
  • Art - 2 hours
  • Gym - 2 hours
  • Geography - 2 hours
  • History - 2 hours

Dissertation: is Nonviolent Communication the ideal toolkit for resolving conflicts?

UCLouvain - Mechanical Engineering Master degree

My Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from UCLouvain follows a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. While this Master's does not offer a specific specialization, I had the opportunity to choose the most relevant courses that would support my future work in the automotive and motorsport industries. As a result, I selected modules focused on energy and aerospace. My Master's program concluded with the completion of a thesis on hydrogen rotary engines.

Thesis: Hydrogen-fueled rotary engines - prediction and analysis of nitric oxide emissions

Oxford Brookes - Motorsport Engineering Master degree

I am currently completing a one-year specialization in Motorsport Engineering, alongside my participation in Formula Student with Oxford Brookes Racing.

  • Business management
  • Advanced Vehicle Aerodynamic
  • Advanced Vehicle Dynamics
  • Composite
  • Electric Vehicle System
  •  Lap Time Simulation

Formula Student: front motor air-cooling duct design

Dissertation: Aerodynamic design and CFD evaluation of a 2026 F1 front wing

Professional Experience

RoadFour - Placement (2022)

Placement at an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) dedicated to assisting with the project of a firefighting aircraft, the Seagle, a launcher capable of capturing the plane from or in the water and elevating it. As a group of students, we worked on a design that adhered to all specifications, which were updated following weekly meetings. My specific contribution to the project focused on the trailer's drivetrain, axle, and engine power transmission.

D2P S.R.L. - Internship (2023)

Four-month internship at a Ferrari dealership at Spa-Francorchamps, working on customer car maintenance and participating in the Ferrari Challenge Europe. This internship focused on learning how to work in a racing team and gaining insight into race engineering, under the mentorship of a senior engineer. Additionally, the mechanics taught me how to perform maintenance on high-performance cars, allowing me to practice hands-on work and gain a deeper understanding of car design. This experience also provided my first exposure to working in a high-pressure industry.
